The weather was quite nice today, so Shruti and I set off on a small bike ride, along the River Stångån.

She was happy to see some Mallard ducks, up close.

We saw some lotuses (lotii? :)).

We rode up to the Tannefors slussar, and the cafe.

It started to drizzle, and then there were large raindrops. It wasn’t the kind of rain that would persist, but I looked around, to see if there’d be a rainbow, as the sun showed up from behind the cloud cover every now and then. Sure enough, there it was!

As we crossed the bridge to get back home, we saw the many locks couples in love had left, as mementos/good-luck charms, and decided to add our own to the collection, some day.
