On a trip to the local supermarket, I noticed a table which had many books laid out on it.  There was nobody there to sell them, though.  Even as I was watching, an old lady walked up to the table, looked at a couple of books, picked one up and left. Intrigued, I walked up to the table myself and saw a small handwritten note. As the text was in Swedish, I pulled out my mobile and used google translate.  The crude translation was something like this: "The books on this table are not here for disposal/selling on the flea market.  We have seen this." I was moved by the whole idea! Here were books put out by book lovers for other book lovers to read and enjoy, for free! I picked up a book for myself. I'll return it after I'm done reading it.  I'll also buy a new book or two, for that table, for I know not every book lover would be able to afford to buy books to read.
